Utilities available?
The Village of Edgerton provides you with the following services: water, sewer, garbage and recycling services. To activate these services visit the Village of Edgerton office or call Jane at 780-755-3933.
Garbage?
Garbage is picked-up on a weekly basis. If your property backs on to a back alley the garbage will be picked up from there. Otherwise you are required to place your garbage container out front of your property. All garbage must be bagged in regular garbage bags, unbagged garbage will not be picked up. Currently garbage is picked up Thursday mornings.
You should take your garbage to the Waste Transfer Station on hwy 610. There will be no charge for household waste to a Edgerton resident.
Winter hours - Weds 2 PM = 4:30 PM, Sat 10 AM - 1 PM.
Summer hours - Tues & Thurs 6 PM - 8:30 PM, Sat 10 AM - 2 PM.

Dog License
Yes, it is required by Bylaw to license your dog. You can register your pet and pick up a license at the Village Office. License fees for a dog that is not altered and over 6 months old are $12.50 +GST and altered are $6.25 +GST.
Who Do I Contact if I Lost My Cat/Dog?
You would need to contact the Village Office to assist and retrieve the animal, providing them with the description of the animal, tag number, and a contact number to reach you. It is possible though that your pet has already been found and being held at the Village dog pound; contact the Town Hall at 780-755-3933.
Is there a Welcome Wagon?
Yes, if you wish to have the Welcome Wagon come to visit please contact Lavinia Redmond (780-755-3630) or Pam Reid (780-755-3867) or if you know of someone who is eligible.
Mail Delivery?
4925 - 50th Street; at that time the Post Office will give you a key to a designated community mail box if available, or set you up with General Delivery service.
