Ag Society

  • meets first Monday of Feb, April, June, Sept, Nov and Dec
  • members must be 18 years of age or older, residents of Alberta
  • annual membership fee of $1.00
  • encourages the improvement in agriculture, horticulture, homemaking, and quality of life in the agricultural community

Edgerton & District Historical Society

  • meetings held the fourth Wednesday of each month except in December
  • encourage and promote interest in the history and culture of the community of Edgerton
  • preserve the history through the preservation and display of artifacts, records, documents, and photographs of the area

Edgerton Chamber of Commerce

  • occasional meetings throughout year
  • group of businesses/organizations within our area
  • promotes business and tourism in our community

Edgerton's Parent Council

  • meetings held every month during school
  • Any parent or non-parent may join; membership includes the principal, teacher volunteers, and a board trustee
  • the group assists the school by fundraising and volunteering for various school functions
  • past projects included new playground equipment, science lab equipment, and track & field equipment and configuration
  • by becoming a member, you have a closer involvement in school happenings and decision with the school

  • open Monday & Friday 4-6 PM, Tuesday 9:30 - 11:30 AM, 5 - 9 PM, Weds & Thurs 2:30 - 4:30 PM, Saturday 1 - 3 PM

Emergency Services

  • must be 18 years of age (16 with written consent)
  • hold a valid operator's license
  • available to take courses as offered
  • conducts fire prevention within the community

Order of the Royal Purple

  • meet every 4th Thursday of each month at 7 PM
  • all person's over the age of 16 are welcome
  • promote and support services in the community, with special emphasis on the needs of children
  • yearly babysitting course
  • donations to Stollery Hospital & Ronald McDonald House
  • yearly Christmas Toy Bingo
  • yearly Angel Christmas Tree
  • donations to other local organizations
  • Sports Days annual raffle
  • catering service

Porter

  • meetings held as required
  • anyone is welcome to join
  • purpose is to keep the community center active
  • annual Farmer's Day Picnic
  • facilit is available for use by individuals, or groups

Rosedale U.C.W.

  • meet the fourth Wednesday of every month except July, August, and December
  • open to all interested women
  • purpose is to unite women for the total mission of the church and to provide a medium through which we may express our loyalty and devotion to Jesus Christ in Christian study, and service
  • provide support to the MS Society, upkeep the Rosedale United Church
